1. Not a veterinary or legal authority
PashuMate does not provide veterinary, legal, tax, or financial advice. Disease articles, calculators, scheme summaries, and mandi commentary are for general information only. Always consult a qualified veterinarian, chartered accountant, or lawyer for decisions affecting animal health, movement certificates, GST, or contracts.
2. Marketplace intermediary
PashuMate connects buyers, sellers, and service providers. We do not guarantee the existence, quality, health, vaccination status, breed purity, milk yield, or legal title of any animal. Physical inspection and independent veterinary examination before purchase are strongly recommended.
3. Prices and mandi data
- Displayed prices, averages, trends, and mandi snapshots are indicative and may be delayed, incomplete, or based on user-submitted listings.
- They are not offers to sell or buy at that price.
- Seasonal, district, and breed variations can be significant.
4. Animal welfare, cruelty, and lawful trade
PashuMate condemns animal cruelty. The Platform must not be used to advertise abused, neglected, or illegally traded animals. Users are solely responsible for humane treatment before, during, and after any transaction.
- Users must comply with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, Transport of Animals Rules, state animal husbandry rules, and applicable livestock movement and disease-control regulations.
- Beating, torture, starvation, cruel transport, or listing animals in visibly inhumane condition is prohibited and may be reported to authorities.
- PashuMate does not facilitate illegal slaughter trade, stolen cattle, or misrepresented health status.
- Interstate movement may require permits, health certificates, and compliance with state notifications — buyers and sellers are solely responsible.
5. Third-party services
Maps (Google), payments (Razorpay), authentication (Google), and external links (WhatsApp, government sites) are operated by third parties subject to their own terms. PashuMate is not responsible for third-party outages or policies.
6. User-generated content
Reviews, listing descriptions, and photos are submitted by users. Opinions expressed are those of the authors, not PashuMate.
7. Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PashuMate disclaims all liability for losses arising from reliance on Platform content, offline transactions, animal disease, transport accidents, or regulatory non-compliance by users.
